Cabinets Company is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time, hands-on position for someone who can both program and operate CNC equipment used in cabinet manufacturing. The ideal candidate understands the complete process-from interpreting drawings and creating CNC programs to setting up and operating the machine, checking finished components, and making adjustments when necessary. Experience in cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, or panel-processing manufacturing is strongly preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for cabinet components • Set up and operate 3-axis CNC routing and nesting equipment • Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and production information • Determine efficient machining methods, cutting sequences, and material layouts • Select and set up appropriate cutting tools for different materials and operations • Perform routing, drilling, cutting, dadoing, and other machining operations • Load programs and materials and operate CNC equipment throughout the machining process • Inspect completed parts for accuracy, dimensions, and quality • Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues • Make program and machine adjustments when necessary • Minimize material waste while maintaining production quality and efficiency • Perform routine machine setup and basic maintenance as required • Work closely with the production team to keep jobs moving efficiently QUALIFICATIONS • Previous CNC programming and operating experience • Experience with 3-axis CNC routers, nesting equipment, or similar woodworking CNC machinery • Cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, or panel-processing experience strongly preferred • Ability to read and interpret drawings, dimensions, and production specifications • Understanding of CNC tooling and machining processes • Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment • Basic math and measurement skills • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality components • Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team POSITION DETAILS Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift Work Location: In person BENEFITS • Paid time off • Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate |
