Woodward is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Santa Clarita, supporting the production of precision aerospace components.
Responsibilities:
Program and optimize CNC machines, including 5-axis machining equipment.
Use Mastercam and Esprit to develop and edit CNC programs.
Work with Okuma CNC machines to support precision machining operations.
Read engineering drawings and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications.
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times, tooling, and production efficiency.
Work closely with machinists and manufacturing engineers to support production.
Requirements:
Strong CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on 5-axis CNC programming experience is essential.
Experience with Mastercam and/or Esprit.
Experience with Okuma CNC machines.
Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
