A precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Screw Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced machine shop environment. Candidates with CNC machining experience and strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC screw machines
Monitor machine cycles and identify tooling or machining issues
Perform tool changes and basic machine setups
Run production lots while maintaining quality standards
Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment
Communicate production updates and concerns with team members
Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
1-2 years of CNC screw machine experience preferred
Manufacturing technology coursework or equivalent experience considered
Strong understanding of machining fundamentals
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Experience with Swiss-style screw machines is a plus
Lean manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand throughout the shift
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
