Global Gear & Machining seeks a CNC Set Up for our second shift operation from 2 PM till 10:30 PM to support the GGM family, we are a gear manufacturer located in Downers Grove, IL. With easy access off of 355 expressway.

Follow standard Operating procedures, work instructions
Perform tasks as requested by the supervisors/ managers
Set up CNC machines (Various technologies listed), inspect the first piece, and get QA approval to allow production to take over.
Make appropriate machine offsets to run parts to controlled specifications.
Understand control plans, identify all gauges, and follow disciplines associated with the check frequencies
Change basic tools (Inserts, Brushes, etc) proficiently, promptly, and without jeopardizing man, machine, or materials.
Maintain accurate tool logs and adhere to preset tool change intervals as required.
Troubleshot basic machine alarms
Ability to read blueprints
Interprets M7M /CMM Chart data to correct setup / operational errors.
Pay rate range is $21.00 to $25.00 shift premium of $1.00.
