Inova Staffing Services is recruiting a CNC Mill Setup Operator for a manufacturer in Mentor. This position offers a four-day scheduled workweek and hands-on work in CNC setup, machining, and inspection.You’ ll set up and operate equipment, work from drawings, and check finished parts for accuracy. This role requires at least two years of HAAS CNC milling setup and operating experience.What you’ ll do
Set up and operate HAAS CNC milling machines accurately and efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints and follow job routers.
Perform grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding.
Inspect machined parts using calipers and other basic handheld measuring tools.
Document inspection results and maintain paperwork for parts.
Report defective materials and questionable conditions to the Machining Supervisor.
Keep your equipment and work area clean and follow established safety procedures.
What you’ ll need
At least two years of experience setting up HAAS CNC milling machines.
At least two years of experience operating HAAS CNC milling machines.
At least two years of experience using calipers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Basic math skills for machining calculations.
Ability to understand and communicate basic spoken work instructions in English.
A high school diploma, graduation from a certified technical school, or equivalent experience.
