We’re partnering with our client, a leader in manufacturing solutions specializing in advanced machining processes, to find a talented CNC Machinist. This role is based on-site and offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and techniques.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set up, load, and operate CNC machines according to detailed specifications.
- Prepare complex machine setups for production runs, including fixturing and calibration.
- Write and modify CNC programs using G-code or CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot programming and machine issues, making real-time adjustments to maintain quality.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify parts meet specifications using precision measurement tools.
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC operation and programming experience.
- Proficiency in G-code and CAM software is essential.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&T.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; experience with multiple CNC machine types preferred.
