We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machine Operator to join our award-winning team.
Overview:
Nexxt Spine is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial to ensuring the production of high-quality parts and contributing to the overall success of our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand and make machine adjustments to produce high quality parts.
- Use inspection equipment including optical comparator, micrometer, calipers, etc.
- Deburr and clean parts for further process steps.
- Clean and maintain the CNC equipment.
- Other duties related to manufacturing.
Experience:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- High level of knowledge in tooling.
- Capable of completing frequent set-ups to run a variety of parts.
- Proficient in completing machine probing, indicating fixturing, and performing tool changes.
- Ability to make offsets to produce quality parts.
- Experience running a Wire EDM and auto band saw.
- Experience with Haas Mills - 3/4/5 Axis in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good knowledge of shop tools and machines.
- Self-motivated to produce high-quality parts.
- Team-oriented and capable of working with limited supervision.
- Strong desire to learn.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Great dexterity to work with implants and instrumentation.
Shift Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
