You will co-lead a classroom of children ages 0–5, partnering with families and staff to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where children of all abilities can succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & Instruction: Lead daily learning activities that foster social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and tailor activities to individual needs.Assessment & Classroom Management: Perform ongoing observations, developmental screenings, and quarterly assessment checkpoints. Maintain continuous supervision, positive discipline practices, and a safe, organized environment meeting licensing and STARS standards.Daily Care & Inclusion: Assist children with daily needs (restroom, diapering, meals, handwashing) and sanitize classroom space. Integrate IEPs and individualized plans for children with special needs.Collaboration & Growth: Communicate clearly and respectfully with parents. Work collaboratively with co-teachers, assistants, and volunteers. Complete 15+ annual training hours and attend staff meetings.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required (CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education preferred).Strong passion for working with children, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit.Good time management skills, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
