Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Cold Mill Production Day Supervisor for our Specialty Cold Mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a production team while establishing a culture of safety awareness, team development, quality production, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be placed in the area that best fits the needs of the Specialty Cold Mill.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Four years of steel manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cold Mill or Hot Dip Galvanizing Experience
- Four-year degree in STEM related field or equivalent work experience
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
