Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Collaboration Engineer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for administering, optimizing, and extending our Microsoft 365 collaboration environment - spanning Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and related services. While strong platform administration chops across the M365 suite are essential, this role leans heavily toward a developer mindset: the ideal candidate is passionate about building automations, scripting operational workflows, and integrating M365 services programmatically. If you''re the kind of person who reaches for PowerShell or the Microsoft Graph API before clicking through the admin portal, you''ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize the full Microsoft 365 collaboration stack, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID - handling provisioning, configuration, governance, and ongoing maintenance.
- Design and build PowerShell-based automations to streamline administration tasks, enforce configuration standards, and support operational reporting across M365 workloads.
- Develop and maintain integrations using the Microsoft Graph API to extend M365 capabilities, support inter-service workflows, and enable programmatic access to platform data.
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions that support business processes and reduce manual effort across the organization.
- Plan and execute SharePoint Online migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to governance standards.
- Support Entra ID (Azure AD) integration requirements related to collaboration workloads, including group management, access policies, and conditional access considerations.
- Partner with stakeholders to design modern SharePoint Online sites and pages with sound information architecture and a strong end-user experience.
- Monitor the M365 roadmap, evaluate new features and capabilities, and proactively recommend improvements to the collaboration environment.
- Document automation solutions, runbooks, and platform configurations to ensure operational continuity.
