Description

We are seeking a Support Engineer with experience in application support, collateral management, production incident management, and technical troubleshooting. Strong background supporting collateral management platforms, particularly COLLINE, with hands-on expertise in SQL, Linux/Unix, and scripting is needed.

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 production support for collateral management applications.
• Act as the primary support contact for business users, collateral operations, and front-office teams.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, user inquiries, and system issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Support collateral management workflows, including margin processes and exposure management.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and maintain optimal performance.
• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate data discrepancies and support operational requests.
• Use Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting for troubleshooting, automation, and operations support.
• Manage and monitor batch processes using Tidal scheduling tools.
• Support user onboarding, access provisioning, entitlement reviews, and audit activities.
• Participate in change management, production releases, and operational readiness reviews.
• Coordinate and support disaster recovery testing and environment failover activities.
• Partner with third-party vendors to resolve application, connectivity, and operational issues.
• Support integrations with SWIFT, AcadiaSoft, custodians, and other external counterparties.

Profile

• 10+ years of application, production, or support engineering experience within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of collateral management, exposure management, and margin processes.
• Experience supporting collateral management platforms in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, SQL, shell scripting, and production support/incident management.
• Experience troubleshooting applications, analyzing logs, and investigating data issues.
• Strong understanding of user access management, entitlement reviews, audits, and operational controls.
