About the Role:
Fastest Labs of Frederick is looking for a detail-oriented and professional Collection Technician to join our growing team in Frederick, MD. Responsibilities:

• Perform drug, alcohol, and DNA specimen collections following strict chain-of-custody procedures
• Conduct urine, oral fluid, and breath alcohol testing in compliance with DOT and non-DOT guidelines
• Accurately document and process collection paperwork and electronic records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant collection facility
• Provide a professional and respectful experience for all clients and donors
• Communicate collection results and status updates to appropriate parties in a timely manner
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company privacy and confidentiality standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in specimen collection, phlebotomy, or a medical/clinical setting preferred
• DOT/DAPM collection certification is a plus (training may be provided)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in sensitive situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
