About the Role:
Fastest Labs of Frederick is looking for a detail-oriented and professional Collection Technician to join our growing team in Hagerstown, MD. Responsibilities:

• Perform drug, alcohol, and DNA specimen collections following strict chain-of-custody procedures
• Conduct urine, oral fluid, and breath alcohol testing in compliance with DOT and non-DOT guidelines
• Accurately document and process collection paperwork and electronic records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant collection facility
• Provide a professional and respectful experience for all clients and donors
• Coordinate with laboratory partners and employers to ensure timely result reporting
• Stay current on federal and industry regulations related to workplace drug testing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in specimen collection, phlebotomy, or a medical/clinical setting preferred
• DOT/USDOT collection certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record management
