Job Summary


We are seeking a Collection Point Caller to join our team. In this role, you will make outbound calls to consumers regarding outstanding accounts and work to establish communication with consumers. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, confidence on the phone, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.


Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to consumers regarding outstanding accounts
  
  
• Engage consumers in a professional and courteous manner
  
  
• Encourage consumers to speak with a Collection Specialist
  
  
• Transfer interested consumers to the appropriate Collection Specialist
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of account activity and call efforts
  
  
• Meet daily call volume and performance expectations
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous Point Caller, outbound calling, call center, collections, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  
  
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  
  
• Comfortable speaking with consumers over the phone
  
  
• Confident, professional, and personable communication style
  
  
• Comfortable working in a goal-driven environment
  
  
• Self-motivated, dependable, and consistent
  
  
• Ability to handle a high volume of outbound calls
  
  
• Basic computer and data entry skills
  
  
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation
  
  
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
