Collections Specialist6+ month contract – Dallas, TX (Onsite – North Park Mall)Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full‑cycle collections process for customer accounts, including monitoring aging reports and prioritizing collection activities.Contact customers via phone and email regarding outstanding invoices and secure payment commitments.Establish and manage payment arrangements in accordance with company policies and escalation procedures.Maintain positive customer relationships while effectively addressing delinquent accounts.Billing Resolution & Cross‑Functional PartnershipResearch and resolve billing disputes, discrepancies, short payments, and account issues.Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Billing and Finance teams to facilitate timely issue resolution.Balance collection objectives with customer satisfaction and long‑term account health.Cash Application & ReportingProcess incoming payments and accurately apply cash to customer accounts.Maintain detailed records of collection activities, customer communications and payment commitments within ERP and collections systems.Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly collections reporting, including aging summaries and key performance indicators.What You Bring2+ years of collections, accounts receivable, credit or related accounting experience.Experience managing customer collections in a business‑to‑business (B2B) environment preferred.Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, aging analysis, cash application and dispute resolution.Experience working with ERP systems and collections management tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.Flexibility and openness to support a variety of assignments, projects and initiatives within the broader Finance team.Estimated Min Rate$17.50Estimated Max Rate$25.00What's In It for You?Benefits include:Medical, Prescription, Dental & Vision Benefits (for employees working 20+ hours per week)Health Savings Account (HSA) (for employees working 20+ hours per week)Life & Disability Insurance (for employees working 20+ hours per week)MetLife Voluntary BenefitsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401K Retirement Savings PlanDirect Deposit & weekly e‑payrollReferral Bonus ProgramsCertification and training opportunitiesNote: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
