Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Summer 2007 Intern Supply Chain Procurement Intern. In this role, you will support the development and execution of acquisition strategy, learn about supplier relationships and deliverables, and integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of procurement, sourcing, operations, logistics and/or planning. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Pursing a degree in, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Distribution, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics or related field

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a collaborative and fast paced enviroment

Excellent organization skills

Demonstrated ability for problem solving

Basic working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $24.37 - $28.15

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
