Working Hours and/or Working Conditions

HOURS: To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 30 per week.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be familiar with Macomb County Health Department standards. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be self-motivated, organized and willing to take directions. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.

Supervision

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Takes direction from the Culinary Arts/Hospitality Coordinator. Reports to the Associate Dean of the IT & Culinary Department. SUPERVISION GIVEN: None.

Job Function

Provide support to Culinary Arts/Hospitality faculty.

• a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours.
• currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid - If you have not received an award or are not sure, fill out and submit this form and contact finaid@macomb.edu with questions.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, check, sign, organize and properly store all department items by stocking in freezer, coolers and storeroom
• Maintain all storage areas in the department to Macomb County Health Department standards
• Label and date all required or requested items
• Perform other duties as assigned

High school graduate or GED equivalent.
