Tesla is seeking a curious, engaging, and driven Collision Field Operations Training Instructor to join the Collision Learning & Development (L&D) team. You will deliver training to onboard and support the performance of Collision Estimators, CSRs and additional Tesla Collision team members according to business needs. You will ensure the effective and efficient implementation of our learning programs, including the success of training for New Site Openings.

The position will be based out of our Collision Center in North Houston, TX. If you're interested in becoming a part of a world-class team supporting the latest EV technology, we are interested in hearing from you.

  • Deliver engaging instructor-led training on front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including system utilization, while training and developing customer service representatives and estimators on customer intake and vehicle repair processing
  • Assist with scheduling classes, coordinating site visits, and conducting virtual support
  • Ensure programs and processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with Tesla's objectives
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet project deadlines
  • Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
  • Work independently in limited-supervision environments while complying with all Tesla safety rules, guidelines, and standards
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as needed and assigned
  • 5+ years of collision industry experience, with training experience preferred
  • Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair preferred
  • Experienced in front-of-house and back-of-house collision operations, including estimating platforms, production management systems and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Maintain and perform top-level professional integrity and appearance as a Collision Repair Program Trainer
  • 60% travel domestically and internationally based on business needs
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs. and driving a forklift
