Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to lead our professional, high-volume collision center.This is an opportunity for an accomplished collision center leader who takes pride in running a profitable, efficient, quality-driven operation and wants the facility, equipment, certifications, and organizational support to do the job right.Our collision center is an I-CAR Gold facility with OEM certifications for multiple brands, including Audi, Infiniti, Volkswagen, General Motors, Hyundai, Genesis, and Volvo. Sunset has made a significant investment in our facility, equipment, training, and people to build an operation capable of meeting today's demanding repair standards. We are looking for the right manager to build on that foundation and continue moving the department forward.This is not an entry-level management position. We are looking for a proven collision professional with the confidence, leadership ability, and operational experience to step in and lead a high-quality collision center profitably and ethically, while maintaining Sunset's longstanding commitment to exceptional customer service.What You'll Be Responsible ForAs Body Shop Manager, you will have responsibility for the performance and day-to-day operation of the collision center, including:Leading all daily collision center operationsManaging technicians, estimators, production staff, and administrative personnelDriving production efficiency, profitability, cycle time, and CSIManaging workflow from the initial estimate through final vehicle deliveryMonitoring repair orders, supplements, parts, labor, gross profit, and cycle timeBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with insurance carriers and adjustersEnsuring repairs are performed accurately, safely, and according to OEM repair proceduresRecruiting, training, coaching, developing, and holding team members accountableMonitoring accounts receivable and open repair ordersMaintaining a clean, safe, organized, and professional facilityEnsuring compliance with manufacturer, insurance, and industry requirementsIdentifying opportunities to grow collision volume and increase market shareBuilding a culture focused on quality, accountability, teamwork, and customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience successfully managing a collision center is required.Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands both the operational and financial sides of the collision business. You should be comfortable managing people, production, insurance relationships, repair quality, and profitability while keeping the customer experience at the center of the operation.Qualifications we're looking for include:Proven success managing a collision repair centerStrong leadership, communication, and team-development skillsSolid understanding of collision center financials and key performance indicatorsExperience managing production, cycle time, labor, parts, supplements, and gross profitFamiliarity with accounts receivable and open RO managementCCC ONE estimating and Production Management experienceI-CAR certifications strongly preferredFamiliarity with OEM certification requirements and repair proceduresReynolds experience is a plusMost importantly, we're looking for a manager who knows what a well-run collision center looks like and has the ability to lead one.Why Sunset Automotive Group?This is more than an opportunity to manage a body shop.
