Combo Welder

Job Description:

• Level IV Welders with a minimum of 15 years of relevant welding experience who successfully pass the 6G TIG and 2G Stick tests
• 15 years of experience will be considered for other welder levels, with starting pay based on experience, weld test results, and other job-related qualifications.

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
• Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
• Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
• Performs a variety of highly skilled tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others

• Ability to pass 6G Tig and 2G Stick test
• Knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ability to work different shifts
• Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles
• Ability to read drawings
• Ability to lift
• Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.)
• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
• Promotes and supports safety, and production
• Possesses positive attitude
