Role Overview

The Commercial Account Administrator is a W2 direct-hire position with Gunn-Mowery and is 100% onsite in Lemoyne, PA. The role is responsible for servicing a designated group of customers, providing support to Sales Executive and/or Account Executive Commercial as applicable, processing work, receiving and making calls to customers or insurers, and assisting in other areas as required. The primary line of business is Property and Casualty.

Candidates must have two to three years of insurance experience, a valid Property & Casualty insurance producer license, and EPIC/Allied experience. They need to hit the ground running. An Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, is required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service a designated group of customers.
• Manage and process customer requests including changes to policies.
• Review billings.
• Provide quotes, proposals, and bind coverage as needed according to insurer guidelines.
• Coordinate processing of the necessary documents with the Administrative Assistant.
• Provide support to Sales Executives and/or Account Executive Commercial.
• Remain responsive to customer inquiries and requests.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain customer relationships and build customer loyalty.
• Review assigned policies to determine if additional coverages should be solicited prior to renewal.
• Conduct periodic service calls for designated customers.
• Document all conversations with customers and/or insurers relative to exposures and coverages.
• Refer to the agency's Policy and Procedures Manual as needed.
• Process all coverage modifications in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent E&O exposure.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attend industry-specific seminars and training as needed.
• Perform duties by complying with agency's established procedures.
• Complete continuing education/training as required by applicable statutes and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Technical Skills

• Two to three years of insurance experience.
