Function: Develop and expand commercial banking relationships primarily with businesses generating approximately $5M–$50M in annual revenue, with an emphasis on growing C&I relationships, deposits, and treasury management opportunities.
Requirements:
Proven commercial banking, business banking, or middle-market relationship management experience
Demonstrated success originating and managing C&I credit relationships
Strong track record of generating both loan and deposit growth
Experience developing relationships with privately held businesses in the lower middle market
Ability to evaluate credit opportunities and understand commercial borrower financial statements
Experience prospecting for new relationships and developing a strong referral network
Working knowledge of commercial credit structures and non-owner-occupied commercial real estate
Ability to identify and introduce Treasury Management and other banking solutions
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative sales skills
Established knowledge of the Alpharetta and broader North Atlanta commercial market strongly preferred
Ability to operate as a relationship manager rather than solely as a lender
Description:
Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking relationships with a primary focus on C&I clients and selected commercial real estate opportunities.
Develop new business relationships with companies generally generating $5M–$50M in annual revenue.
Generate meaningful annual loan and deposit production through direct prospecting, centers of influence, referrals, and existing relationships.
Lead the full commercial banking relationship by identifying opportunities across lending, deposits, Treasury Management, and additional bank services.
Coordinate with credit partners to structure appropriate commercial financing solutions while maintaining strong underwriting discipline.
Partner closely with Treasury Management professionals to identify deposit and fee-income opportunities and expand overall relationship value.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects and execute consistent calling and relationship-development activity throughout the North Atlanta market.
Expand existing relationships through strategic cross-selling and proactive identification of additional financial needs.
Collaborate with internal banking partners to provide clients with a coordinated, relationship-focused banking experience.
Maintain strong credit quality, documentation standards, and compliance with applicable banking policies and regulatory requirements.
Deliver production consistent with experience level, with established bankers expected to generate significant annual loan and deposit growth and senior producers carrying higher production expectations.
