Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager - NYCOur client is a well-established General Contractor specializing in commercial interiors, retail fit-outs, tenant improvements, and repositioning projects throughout the NYC market. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work for repeat clients and offer employees long-term stability, mentorship, and clear opportunities for advancement.Job DescriptionAs a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager - NYC, you will:Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of commercial interior construction projects.Support budgeting, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and document control.Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Coordinate project schedules and communicate project updates with clients and field teams.Attend jobsite meetings and assist with project reporting.Track project costs and support closeout activities.Collaborate with Superintendents, design teams, owners, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
