Assistant Project Manager 

A growing commercial construction company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to take the next step in their career while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking.

• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and subcontractor documentation.

• Assist with subcontractor and vendor coordination.

• Participate in project meetings and maintain communication with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams.

• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.

• Help monitor project progress, quality, schedule, and budget.

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to resolve project issues.

Qualifications:

• Commercial construction experience required.

• Previous Assistant PM, Project Engineer, or similar experience preferred.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.

• Proficiency with construction management software is a plus.

• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
