Commercial Construction Superintendent

This hands-on leadership position is for someone who can oversee commercial construction projects while staying actively involved in daily jobsite operations. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to keep projects running safely and efficiently.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, Field Superintendent, or Construction Foreman required
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, methods, and jobsite operations
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Experience supervising construction crews and coordinating subcontractors
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and jobsite safety procedures
• Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines
• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on construction labor when needed
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable making decisions in the field

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on commercial construction jobsites
• Supervise employees and coordinate subcontractors to maintain project schedules
• Communicate and enforce jobsite safety procedures
• Monitor project timelines and coordinate work to prevent delays
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
• Track construction materials, supplies, and equipment needed for projects
• Communicate with project managers and other team members regarding project progress
• Address jobsite issues and resolve problems as they arise
• Perform general construction labor, basic carpentry, and other hands-on duties as needed

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: $27 to $45 an hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm
