Commercial Construction Superintendent

A well-established commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will take ownership of jobsite safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall field execution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily field operations from mobilization through project completion.

• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.

• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and maintain clear communication with project teams.

• Monitor construction progress, workmanship, quality, and safety.

• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure work is properly executed.

• Identify and resolve field conflicts, delays, and coordination issues.

• Track RFIs, submittals, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities.

• Maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and according to contract requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred.

• Previous Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent experience.

• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
