Step into a day on our Commercial Service team

At C.M. Armitage, you’ll start your morning with a clear schedule and the keys to a company vehicle. Your route takes you to local commercial sites—troubleshooting power issues, repairing circuits, restoring lighting, and keeping facilities up and running. Some days you’ll be in a panel; other days, you’ll be in a bucket truck handling exterior lighting. You’ll communicate clearly with customers, solve problems efficiently, and wrap jobs safely and cleanly. Then it’s on to the next call, Monday through Friday, all year long.

What you’ll handle

• Diagnose and resolve commercial electrical problems quickly and accurately
• Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and service upgrades
• Service interior/exterior lighting; operate a bucket truck when needed (preferred experience)
• Document findings, parts used, and work performed
• Communicate status and recommendations to customers and the team
• Follow all safety practices; use company-provided safety equipment

What you bring

• Service Electrician experience: 3+ years (required)
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in commercial environments
• Hands-on expertise in electrical repair and maintenance
• Bucket truck experience (preferred)
