Commercial Electrical Systems Technician

About the Role

This is a full-time, first-shift position supporting electrical construction projects throughout the Hagerstown, MD area. Compensation reflects your skills and experience:

• Pay ranges from $25–$32/hr depending on experience and skill level.
• Journeyman electricians generally earn $33–$35/hr based on demonstrated ability and experience.

What You’ll Build

• Install EMT, Rigid, IMC, and flexible conduit; bend and fabricate using hand and mechanical benders.
• Pull and terminate branch circuits and feeders; mount and wire electrical equipment.
• Set panels, disconnects, transformers, and switchgear; install lighting, receptacles, switches, and devices.

How You’ll Execute

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Lay out conduit paths to spec and coordinate with other trades to keep the schedule on track.
• Test with appropriate instruments, troubleshoot issues, and verify compliance with the NEC.
• Work safely: follow OSHA requirements and keep your area clean and organized.

What You Bring

• Minimum five (5) years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proven EMT conduit installation and bending proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Standard electrical hand tools and OSHA-compliant PPE.
• Commitment to OSHA and NEC standards (OSHA certification preferred but not required).
