About the Role
Central MEP Solutions is hiring a skilled Commercial Electrician for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This position is ideal for a mid-level electrician with solid commercial experience who can perform installations independently while working within a union crew.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on active commercial construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
Run and bend conduit (EMT, rigid, and other types as required)
Pull, terminate, and test wiring
Install panels, switchgear, lighting, and related electrical components
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
Ensure compliance with NEC codes, union agreements, and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications
3–5 years of commercial electrical experience
Experience working on union job sites required
Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial wiring methods
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
