Central MEP Solutions is hiring a skilled Commercial Electrician for an active project in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a mid-level electrician with solid commercial experience who is comfortable working independently and as part of a union crew.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial buildings while ensuring all work meets safety and code requirements.
Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
Run and bend conduit (EMT, rigid, and other types as required)
Pull and terminate wiring
Install panels, switchgear, lighting, and other electrical components
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
Follow union guidelines and job site safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
3–5 years of commercial electrical experience
Experience working on union job sites required
Strong knowledge of NEC codes and commercial wiring methods
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
