    Description

    Terrelonge Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Superintendent specializing in glass installation to oversee and manage commercial construction projects in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the field of glass installation, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Planning and Coordination:

      • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for glass installation projects.
      • Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines and budget constraints.
    2. Site Management:

      • Oversee on-site activities, including but not limited to material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce management.
      • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
    3. Quality Control:

      • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of glass installation work meets industry standards and client expectations.
      • Address any issues or defects promptly and effectively to maintain project integrity.
    4. Team Leadership:

      • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
      • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote productivity and teamwork.
    5. Communication:

      • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, communicating project progress, challenges, and resolutions effectively and professionally.
      • Document project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders, to maintain accurate project records.
    6. Cost Management:

      • Monitor project expenses and resource utilization to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
      • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a focus on glass installation preferred.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations related to glass installation.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
