Commercial HVAC Technician

You’ll be handling everything from troubleshooting and repairs to installs and maintenance—keeping commercial HVAC systems running at peak performance.

Your Role on the Squad:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including:
• Split systems, heat pumps, and package units (up to 25 tons)
• Ductless splits, economizers, humidifiers, and ventilation fans
• Boilers, burners, and furnaces (gas & oil)
• Electric motors (1-phase & 3-phase) and motor controls
• Water pumps, unit heaters (hot water, steam, electric)
• Diagnose refrigeration and heating cycle issues using gauges, meters, and testing tools
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts
• Provide accurate quotes and materials lists for repairs and installations
• Oversee or assist with installs: ductwork, gas piping, valves, etc.
• Execute work orders safely, efficiently, and up to spec
• Ensure all completed jobs are properly reported with detailed resolutions
• Be available for after-hours or weekend calls as needed
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay sharp and in sync

Your Skills & Requirements:

• Strong experience in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, PMs, and installs
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and heating cycles
• Ability to use multimeters and other diagnostic tools
• Comfortable reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Physically capable of climbing ladders, lifting 50 lbs, and pulling wire
• Must be able to identify color-coded wiring

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts
• Some overtime and emergency calls may apply
• In-person work with a reliable, professional team
