We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Producer to join our team in San Diegos historic Old Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional looking to grow their career with a respected Farmers Insurance agency.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and acquiring new commercial insurance clients across diverse industries, including:

• Restaurants and Bars
• Retail Businesses
• Manufacturing and distribution
• Artisan contractors
• Office and Professional
• Commercial Real Estate
• Habitational

You will market and sell a comprehensive portfolio of products through Farmers Insurance and our extensive outside broker network:

• General Liability
• Business Owners Policy (BOP)
• Commercial Auto
• Workers Compensation
• Professional Liability
• Surety Bonds
• Builder's Risk

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to drive high client retention and product loyalty.
• Provide ongoing support and service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Prospect and secure new business by leveraging referrals, networking, marketing initiatives, cold-calling, and lead databases.
• Educate clients on commercial insurance solutions tailored to meet their unique needs and business objectives.
• Cultivate professional networks by developing relationships with business owners, CPAs, attorneys, and local business organizations (e.g., Chambers of Commerce).

Requirements

• Active P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance license
• Experience in commercial insurance sales
• Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Driven, organized, and self-motivated
• Life & Health license and bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus
