On-Call Rotation

Air Comfort Service Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our growing Food Services Division. We are looking for a dependable technician who can diagnose and repair commercial cooking equipment while delivering the professional service our customers expect

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooking and food-service equipment
• Service ovens, ranges, fryers, griddles, steamers, kettles, warmers, dishwashers, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot gas, electric, steam, plumbing, mechanical, and control-system issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Identify unsafe equipment conditions and communicate repair recommendations promptly
• Test equipment after repairs to confirm safe and proper operation
• Clearly document work performed, parts used, equipment condition, and recommendations
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, supervisors, and other technicians
• Participate in the department's on-call rotation
• Follow manufacturer requirements and all company and customer safety procedures

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial kitchen equipment experience preferred
• Strong electrical, gas, mechanical, and plumbing diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing equipment from multiple commercial manufacturers
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
• CFESA certification is preferred but not required
• EPA Section 608 certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift equipment and materials and work in active commercial kitchens
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• OSHA 10 certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25–$48.35 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications
