Commercial Lines Account Manager

Opportunity

A growing insurance organization serving individuals and small businesses throughout the Southeast is hiring a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager in Boca Raton, FL. In this role, you'll manage and grow an existing book of small commercial accounts, support clients through renewals and ongoing policy needs, and help create a consistent, high-quality service experience.

You'll report to the VP of Sales and work closely with sales and operations leadership to support retention, identify cross-sell opportunities, and improve day-to-day account management workflows.

What You Will Own

• Manage and grow an existing book of small commercial accounts
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients on coverage questions, renewals, policy servicing, and account needs
• Proactively discuss renewal options, coverage considerations, and cross-sell opportunities
• Explain coverage details and policy benefits clearly and concisely
• Handle endorsements, audits, policy changes, documentation, and related service requests
• Support a smooth, consistent client experience throughout renewals and ongoing servicing
• Stay current on commercial insurance products, industry best practices, and sales techniques
• Use available technology and systems to support efficient account management
• Partner with sales and operations leadership to improve processes and workflows

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Active Florida 2-20 or 4-40 Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Commercial Lines Account Management experience within an insurance agency
• Hands-on experience supporting commercial insurance clients, renewals, and policy servicing
• Strong working knowledge of Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Workers' Compensation
• Ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive tasks with accuracy and organization
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain coverage details and policy benefits to clients
• Detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable balancing client service with account growth opportunities

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience using Applied Epic or a similar agency management system
• Experience identifying cross-sell opportunities within an existing commercial book
• Background supporting small business or small commercial insurance accounts

Compensation

The expected total compensation range is USD 75,000–85,000 Yearly.
