Commercial Lines Account Manager- Experienced

Western Dakota Insurors is seeking a licensed Property & Casualty Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines team in our downtown Rapid City office.

The ideal candidate will have 35 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience and be comfortable working with multiple insurance carriers. We're looking for someone who values building lasting client relationships, has exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, family-owned independent insurance agency.

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you'll play a key role in servicing commercial insurance accounts by managing policy changes, processing renewals, preparing certificates of insurance, responding to client and carrier requests, maintaining accurate account information, and partnering with producers to deliver outstanding customer service.

Salary Range: $50000.00 - $70000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Service and support an established Commercial Lines book of business
• Work directly with producers, insurance carriers, and clients
• Assist with claims, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes
• Provide exceptional customer service and proactive problem-solving support
• Maintain accurate client and policy information within agency systems
• Respond promptly to client requests and coverage questions
• Help ensure policies are processed accurately and efficiently

This Position Requires:

• Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain)
• 35 years of Commercial Lines account management experience preferred
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
• Exceptional customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented attitude with a professional, client-focused approach
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines efficiently
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
