Commercial Lines Account Manager

Our client is an established P&C independent insurance agency looking to add an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to its team.

What you'll do

• Manage a generalist book of commercial accounts across a range of industries and coverage types
• Serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients
• Handle renewals from start to finish, including gathering underwriting information, marketing to carriers, and preparing proposals
• Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy changes accurately and on time
• Review policies and quotes for accuracy and coverage gaps
• Work closely with producers to retain and round out accounts
• Build strong relationships with carrier underwriters
• Keep Applied Epic up to date with complete, accurate notes
• Cross sell

What you bring

• 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience at an agency or brokerage
• Proven ability to manage a generalist commercial book on your own
• Hands-on experience with Applied Epic
• Property & Casualty license
• Solid knowledge of commercial coverages such as general liability, property, auto, workers' comp, and umbrella
• Strong organization, follow-through, and client communication skills
