What you’ll handle
- Operate commercial vehicles with strict adherence to traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Deliver freight to assigned destinations on schedule.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Log deliveries, mileage, and fuel accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with dispatch and teammates to adjust to real-time route needs.
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers at every stop.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as operational needs require.
What it takes
- Valid CDL A or B with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience as a commercial driver preferred.
- Solid understanding of transportation safety regulations and best practices.
- Comfort using GPS and maps for route planning and navigation.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items and perform physical tasks when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; extra certifications are a plus.
