    Job Description

    Commercial Plumber

Every commercial building depends on plumbing that works from day one: water that runs clean, drains that flow, and gas lines that hold pressure. As a Commercial Plumber with our skilled trades team, you'll take those systems from rough-in to final inspection on long-term commercial construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and system upgrades. Our recruiters work to keep experienced plumbers on steady, full-time work instead of chasing the next short job.

Employment Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity with the goal of bringing strong-performing plumbers onto the company's permanent payroll. Upon permanent hire, employees will receive a company work van.

Ideal Candidate: 4–6+ years of commercial plumbing construction experience, preferably with some industrial exposure. Looking for someone with strong technical abilities, a dependable work ethic, and an interest in developing into a leadership role, with future opportunities to advance into a Foreman position.

    What You'll Accomplish

    • Pass rough-in and final inspections on the first attempt. Install DWV, domestic water, and gas piping that meets code and project specs without rework.
    • Hit the schedule. Complete underground, rough-in, and trim-out phases on or ahead of the foreman's timeline so other trades are never waiting on plumbing.
    • Turn prints into clean installs. Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and isometrics, then lay out runs that avoid conflicts with HVAC, electrical, and structural work.
    • Build tight, lasting systems. Cut, join, and support copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX by soldering, brazing, pressing, or threading, and pass every pressure test.
    • Set and connect commercial equipment and fixtures. Install water heaters, backflow preventers, carriers, and fixtures so they work correctly at turnover.
    • Diagnose and fix problems fast. Find and repair leaks and pressure or drainage issues before they become callbacks or punch-list items.
    • Work safely every shift. Follow OSHA requirements, keep a clean work area, and finish each project with zero recordable incidents.

    Your Environment

This is a full-time, first-shift role. You'll report daily to the jobsite foreman or superintendent and work alongside other skilled trades. You'll bring your own standard plumbing hand tools and PPE: a hard hat, ANSI safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, long pants, safety-toe boots, gloves, and hearing protection.

    What You Bring

    • At least 4-6 years or more of commercial and/or industrial plumbing construction experience, from underground through trim-out.
    • The ability to read and work from commercial plumbing blueprints and isometric drawings.
    • Hands-on skill joining copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX, plus working knowledge of plumbing code and pressure testing.
    • Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred, but not required.
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
    • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
    • If an offer is extended, you will be required to consent to a drug screen and background check. We are a drug-free company.

    Why Plumbers Choose Us

    • Career Growth: We're looking for experienced plumbers interested in developing their leadership skills and eventually progressing into a Foreman position. Candidates who demonstrate strong technical abilities, reliability, and the ability to lead others will have opportunities to take on additional responsibility.
    • Real benefits: You'll get a 401(k) with employer match, health insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and life, disability, and supplemental coverage.
    • Pay that reflects your skill: Your hourly rate is based on your experience and demonstrated ability.
    • $1,500 referral bonuses: Know a great tradesperson? Get rewarded for bringing them on.
    • A team that has your back: We're focused on building careers, not just filling headcount.

Ready to Build Something That Lasts?

If you take pride in clean installs and first-time inspections, we want to talk with you. Apply today, and a recruiter will reach out to discuss pay, projects, and your next move.

This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights at home.

    You should be proficient in:

    • Commercial Plumbing
    • Plumbing
    • Soldering
