LHH is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney for an exciting contract opportunity with a respected organization in the Orlando area. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate transactions, leasing matters, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects while partnering with business stakeholders and legal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial real estate background and the ability to manage transactions from inception through closing.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate agreements, including:

  • Purchase and Sale Agreements

  • Commercial Leases and Amendments

  • Development Agreements

  • Easements, Licenses, and Restrictive Covenants

  • Loan and Financing Documents

  • Construction and Project-Related Agreements

  • Support commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.

  • Conduct and analyze title, survey, zoning, and due diligence reviews.

  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and strategic business considerations.

  • Manage real estate transactions through closing and post-closing activities.

  • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, brokers, outside counsel, and business teams.

  • Assist with development, land use, and commercial property matters as needed.

  • Support legal department initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • 5+ years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.

  • Demonstrated experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions.

  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

  • Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Commercial development and construction projects.

  • Retail, office, industrial, hospitality, or mixed-use properties.

  • Real estate finance and lending transactions.

  • Florida commercial real estate experience.
