Position Overview

A commercial real estate company in the Dallas area is looking to add an experienced Commercial Real Estate Leasing Manager to its team. This position will focus on generating leasing activity, building relationships with the brokerage community, marketing available properties, and converting prospective tenants into new leases.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial real estate leasing, business development, or brokerage and is comfortable prospecting for new opportunities, conducting property tours, preparing proposals, and participating in lease negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Generate new tenant opportunities through broker relationships, direct prospecting, networking, industry events, electronic outreach, and other business development efforts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with listing brokers, tenant-representation brokers, prospective tenants, and other commercial real estate professionals.
• Conduct property tours and communicate key information regarding available space, lease economics, improvements, timing, and property features.
• Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective tenants and brokers throughout the leasing process.
• Prepare leasing proposals and presentations within established financial parameters.
• Participate in proposal discussions and lease negotiations for new tenants and renewals.
• Develop and execute property-specific leasing and marketing strategies in coordination with market leadership.
• Maintain accurate reports covering prospecting activity, property tours, proposals, leasing pipeline, and completed transactions.
• Market available properties through listing platforms, broker outreach, email campaigns, property materials, and other appropriate channels.
• Monitor Dallas-area commercial real estate activity, including competing properties, rental rates, tenant activity, market conditions, and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate property and availability information across applicable marketing and listing platforms.
• Represent the company professionally at industry, civic, networking, and economic development events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of commercial real estate leasing or related experience
• Strong understanding of commercial leasing and the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and brokers.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable preparing proposals, presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
• Proficiency with standard business software and technology.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and leasing opportunities simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for property tours, meetings, and networking events.

Compensation & Benefits

• $95,000–$105,000 base salary depending on experience
