Commercial Roofing Project Engineer – Entry Level
Comoany is looking for an entry-level Project Engineer to join our team in Las Vegas. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, technically minded, and interested in building a career in commercial construction and roofing.
The Project Engineer will support our project management team with the preparation, processing, tracking, and coordination of project submittals, product data, specifications, and technical documentation. You will work closely with Project Managers, vendors, manufacturers, and customers to ensure materials and documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process project submittals and technical documentation
Review plans, specifications, and product information for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and Project Managers regarding materials and products
Track submittals and approvals to maintain project schedules
Maintain organized project files and documentation
Assist Project Managers with technical and administrative project needs
Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve questions or missing information
Learn commercial roofing systems, materials, specifications, and construction processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable reviewing technical documents and learning construction specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction software experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong desire to learn and grow within the commercial construction industry
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
