Commercial Superintendent

We're a mid-sized General Contractor seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent for projects in the Richmond, VA area...

As a Superintendent, you'll oversee every aspect of the construction process, from initial planning to final walkthrough. Your keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving skills will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

Job Responsibilities Include:

* Lead and motivate on-site construction teams to achieve project goals
* Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients
* Implement and enforce safety protocols

* Manage on-site progress, as necessary to achieve budget and schedule goals

* Perform all quality control activities to ensure that all work complies with the specifications and quality expectations

Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in commercial construction with a history of managing projects in excess of $1-million

* Strong leadership and communications skills

* Experience utilizing construction management software and technology to track project deliverables

* In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

* Ability to work independently without the need for daily oversight

* OSHA certification preferred

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with full benefits. Qualified applicants should expect to receive annual compensation of $85,000 - $95,000.
