Location: Tallahassee, FL

Travel: Position requires travel outside of the Tallahassee Metro Area 12-15 weeks a year.

Salary: $20 - $27 per hour (Based on experience)

Position Summary:

The commerical alarm, access, & CCTV technician works with our enterprise team to support clients with mulitple locations throughout the state of Florida & Georgia

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and test cabling.
• Perform commercial wiring & equipment installations.
• Understand and improve existing installation and troubleshooting procedures.
• Apply best practices for equipment troubleshooting and installations.
• Learn and train on multiple product lines.
• Execute service and job tickets through our database.
• Proficiently use Gmail, Apple iOS, Android, and web applications.
• Train to become certified on various systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Troubleshoot effectively and efficiently.
• Train customers and field staff on products.
• Manage parts and inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Professional conduct and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
