Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional in Commodity/Account Management and Strategic Sourcing.
This role involves establishing sourcing goals, ensuring acceptable service levels, and managing the end-to-end procurement process.
The ideal candidate will execute competitive bids, negotiate and administer contracts, and analyze pricing proposals to optimize price, quality, timing, and the reliability of supply.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement negotiation strategies for procuring goods, services, and supplies.
Execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Establish and maintain sourcing objectives and service level agreements.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners.
Perform detailed analysis of price proposals, financial reports, and other relevant data to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and price competitiveness.
Conduct supplier research to uphold organizational standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
Drive and support the strategic planning process for specific commodities or strategic suppliers.
Lead the sourcing lifecycle, from Request for Quotation (RFQ) to contract execution.
Monitor supplier or commodity performance to meet delivery, quality, and cost expectations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts Management, or a related business field.
Demonstrated experience in sourcing, including Request for Proposal (RFP) execution, contract negotiations, and Supplier Relationship Management.
Preferred:
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Project management experience is a plus.
Background in the government or aerospace industry is highly desirable.
