Job Description

Primary Required Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Provide administrative leadership as Clinical Program Coordinator for the M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology program, managing processes related to clinical education and program operations.

Foster and develop long-term interprofessional and collaborative clinical relationships within and beyond the university.

Coordinate community-based clinical practicum experiences.

Provide graduate student clinical education and training in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Teach six courses per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels; examples of high-priority courses include Introduction to Communication Disorders, Clinical Methods, and Clinical Practicum. Additional courses may be available, depending on the candidate's area of expertise.

Academic and clinical advising for students and contribute to departmental, school, and college service.

Engage in scholarly activity regarding clinical innovations and evidence-based practice. This is encouraged but not required for clinical faculty.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The annual starting base salary range for this position is from $62,000-$70,000. CWRU considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (SLP).

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Possession of, or eligibility for, Ohio SLP licensure by the time of employment.

At least three years of clinical supervision experience and at least five years of direct clinical SLP experience.

Classroom teaching experience is preferred.
