Job Title: Strategic Intelligence Research Lead (Communications Coordinator 2)

Who We Are Looking For -
The Intelligence Center (IC) seeks an ambitious and curious professional to support the research and production of strategic intelligence products. As the Strategic Intelligence Research Lead, you will have the opportunity to leverage your exceptional communications and critical thinking skills, strong understanding of sports and global affairs, and passion for the consumer/sportswear brand space to drive insights for company stakeholders.
What Will You Work On -
As a Research Lead, you will bring your broad set of knowledge to research and report on sports and global affairs with a focus on their potential impacts to the company. You will help produce the daily World Brief report on global issues through a company lens. Ongoing and ad hoc strategic intelligence reports may be deep and forward-looking or concise and in direct response to a specific inquiry from a stakeholder. You will ensure all of this work is done in close collaboration with other members of the IC and relevant stakeholders in various corners of the company.
Additional focus areas (per intake): conducting research and contextual analysis; creating and sending out the daily World Brief summarizing world news for company employees; researching athletes, geopolitical events, supply chain disruptions, and marketplace trends. The ETW sits on the Strategic Intelligence team and works closely with security, sports marketing, communications, and other groups.

The IC is part of the Resilience organization and the legal/governance function which powers and protects the company. We cut through the noise and the spin to determine what is affecting the business, and highlighting where we need to focus our attention during turbulent times.
Must-Have
" Bachelor's degree in international affairs, communications, journalism, political science, business administration, or a related discipline.
" 3-5+ years' experience in research, journalism, academia, and/or business operations.
" Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
" Demonstrated skill in intelligence production, including clear written communication, graphic design, data visualization, and layout of polished reports and briefing products.
" Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
" General awareness of world news, political science, etc.
" Attention to detail.
" Curiosity and drive to always learn more.
" Fluency in reading, speaking and writing in English is required.
Nice-To-Have
" An advanced degree in international affairs, business administration, journalism, law, or a related discipline is preferred.
" Experience with a Fortune 500 company is a plus.
" Familiarity with InDesign/graphic design.
" Fluency with AI writing tools (i.e. Copilot).
" Experience with Campaign Monitor.
" Experience with WorkVivo.
