Tommy Nobis Center is seeking a creative and motivated Communications Intern to support our communications, marketing, fundraising, and outreach initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, including social media, public relations, graphic design, and impactful storytelling. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference, eager to gain real-world experience in a mission-driven environment, and can effectively communicate our story in a meaningful and moving way.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, drafting, and scheduling content for social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
Write client success features for website, newsletters and fundraising communications
Help create graphics, flyers, and promotional materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Conduct research to support marketing campaigns and outreach strategies
Track media and social engagement analytics and prepare reports
Help manage website updates and maintain media archive
Assist with internal communications and special event promotion
Support video and photography projects as needed
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
