RISE Association Management Group is seeking an experienced Community Association Manager to oversee a portfolio of condominium and single-family homeowners associations throughout the Austin area.
This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and building strong relationships with Board members and homeowners. As the primary point of contact for your assigned communities, you will help Boards make informed decisions while coordinating financial, operational, maintenance, vendor, and resident-service needs.
You will manage multiple priorities at once—from preparing for Board meetings and reviewing financial information to coordinating vendors, addressing homeowner concerns, and ensuring approved projects and action items are completed.
If you are organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and enjoy being the person clients can rely on to get things done, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Manage a portfolio of condominium and single-family HOA communities throughout the Austin area.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned Boards of Directors and communities.
Attend Board of Directors and membership meetings and provide professional guidance and support.
Prepare meeting agendas, Board packets, reports, and follow-up documentation.
Track Board decisions and ensure approved action items are completed.
Help Boards navigate community operations, maintenance needs, budgets, vendors, and homeowner concerns.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with Board members, homeowners, vendors, and internal RISE teams.
Review monthly financial packages and Board reports.
Assist Boards with annual budgets and ongoing financial planning.
Monitor community expenses, invoices, contracts, and vendor costs.
Provide Boards with clear recommendations based on financial and operational information.
Coordinate maintenance requests, community projects, inspections, and vendor services.
Obtain and review vendor proposals and help Boards evaluate options.
Identify potential issues before they become larger operational or financial problems.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for homeowners and Board members.
Respond to calls, emails, and service requests within established company standards.
Handle difficult homeowner concerns with professionalism, patience, and sound judgment.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve community issues.
Maintain a proactive communication style so clients know what is happening rather than having to ask for updates.
Manage multiple communities, deadlines, meetings, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
Maintain accurate community records and documentation.
Follow RISE procedures, technology platforms, and established workflows.
Assist with onboarding new association accounts and transitioning communities to RISE.
Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and the overall client experience.
At least 2 years of community association or HOA management experience
Experience working directly with Boards of Directors
Experience managing vendors, community projects, and homeowner concerns
General understanding of accounting principles and association financial statements
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time-management abilities
Ability to manage multiple communities and competing priorities
Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills
Professional judgment, accountability, and emotional intelligence
Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Austin area

Experience managing both condominium and single-family HOA communities
Experience independently managing a portfolio of multiple communities
Multifamily property-management experience
Experience with community association management software
CMCA, AMS, PCAM, or other industry designation
Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, or a related field
