Community Clothes Closet Volunteer

The La Crosse Area Family YMCA Community Youth Center is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our Community Clothing Closet, a free resource that provides clothing to families in need.

Role Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize clothing donations.
  

• Help maintain a clean and welcoming closet space.
  

• Assist individuals and families during shopping appointments.
  

• Support with general organization and upkeep.
  

Volunteer Shifts Available:

• Fridays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  

• Second Tuesday of each month, 4:30 – 6:30 PM
  

Additional flexible scheduling is available—volunteers may also come in at other times to assist with organizing and cleaning outside of shopping hours.

Requirements

Ideal Volunteer:

• Friendly, welcoming, and reliable.
  

• Organized and detail-oriented.
  

• Comfortable working with diverse individuals and families.
